Petrus is an 11.4 hectare estate on the clay plateau of Pomerol, near the border with Saint-Émilion, planted entirely with Merlot since 2010. Its fame grew under owner Madame Edmond Loubat and the Moueix family, which now owns it through Jean-François Moueix. It makes no second wine and ranks among the most expensive wines in the world.
