Daniel Guestier of Barton & Guestier restored and enlarged the estate after 1816. The Borie brothers bought it around 1930 and divided it in the early 1940s, the part with the château becoming today's Batailley. It has stayed with Marcel Borie's descendants, the Castéja family.
