The estate was called Château Belair until 2008, when JP Moueix took full ownership and renamed it after Anne-Adèle Monange, wife of Jean Moueix. In 2012 the neighbouring Château Magdelaine was merged into Bélair-Monange. The vineyard is planted mainly with Merlot.
