Baron Pierre de Pichard bought the Peyraguey estate in 1742; it was seized after his son was guillotined in 1794 and bought in 1796 by Pierre Lafaurie. The Peyraguey estate was split at auction in 1879, the upper part becoming Clos Haut-Peyraguey. The Cordier family bought Lafaurie-Peyraguey in 1917, and the Lalique group took a 75% stake in 2023.
