The site of Figeac was a Gallo-Roman villa in the 2nd century. Thierry Manoncourt ran the estate from 1947 and built its modern reputation on a blend unusually rich in Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc for Saint-Émilion. Figeac was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé A in the 2022 classification.
