The Benedictines of Sainte-Croix in Bordeaux mention the 'bourdieu' of Dauzac in 1545. The estate was owned by the Lynch family in the 18th century. In the 1880s Professor Alexis Millardet carried out in its vineyards most of the trials that led to Bordeaux mixture.
