The Scharzhofberg is a 28 hectare south-facing slope of weathered slate above Wiltingen on the Saar, planted only with Riesling. It is not registered as an Einzellage, so its wines carry the name Scharzhofberger without the usual village name. Egon Müller's Scharzhof estate sits at the foot of the hill.
