Marquis Mario Incisa della Rocchetta planted Cabernet at Tenuta San Guido in the 1940s, and Sassicaia was first sold commercially with the 1968 vintage. It started the Super Tuscan movement, and in 2013 Bolgheri Sassicaia became the first Italian DOC belonging to a single estate.
