Jean Phillips bought a vineyard in Oakville in 1986 and made the first Screaming Eagle vintage in 1992. Robert Parker gave that wine 99 points, and its tiny production made it one of the most sought-after wines in the world. Stan Kroenke and Charles Banks bought the estate in 2006.
