Northernmost Côte des Blancs grand cru, just east of Épernay, and the largest by vineyard area

Chouilly was promoted from premier cru to grand cru in 1985, at first at 100% for white grapes only. It became grand cru for all varieties after the échelle des crus was abolished in 2010. The Nicolas Feuillatte cooperative has its main facility here.
