The Dundee Hills are a range of hills in Yamhill County, about 45 km southwest of Portland. David Lett planted some of the Willamette Valley's first Pinot Noir here at The Eyrie Vineyards in the 1960s. The area became an AVA in 2004 and is known for its red Jory soils.
